Four things…
We’re having a quiet weekend, a bit of hunkering down after a busy and tough week. Today we went for lunch at our favourite place and this evening has been all about Stricty (first season of watching and we’re hooked). Tomorrow we’re making fondant fancies….
Anyway, this week’s four things all mean comfort to me, which is just what we need right now:

1. I adore the colour of the leaves at this time of year.
2. Friday night. A roaring fire and a tumbler of red. Can’t beat it.
3. My mum’s old china jug and plate - so nice to have hand-me-downs like this!
4. My hydrangea is just about over but even though the colour has faded, it still looks beautiful.
